DCAEYC at the 2025 DC Men in ECE City-Wide Conference

On Saturday, October 11, our DCAEYC team joined early childhood educators, leaders, and community partners at the 2025 DC Men in ECE City-Wide Conference at UDC Community College. This year’s theme, Caring with Confidence: The Dual Role of Men in Early Childhood Education, celebrated the leadership and essential contributions of men across the early learning field.

DCAEYC was proud to be on site with our table, sharing resources, connecting with members, and engaging in thoughtful conversations about leadership, equity, and professional growth in early education. Events like this remind us how powerful it is when educators and advocates come together to build a stronger, more inclusive community for DC’s children and families.

We extend our thanks to the organizers for creating such an inspiring space and to every participant who stopped by to share their experiences. DCAEYC is honored to continue supporting all early childhood professionals in their journey to learn, lead, and thrive.
