Boar Election 2025: Meet the Candidates

ree

On Thursday evening, DCAEYC members came together for our Meet the Candidates event, a virtual gathering designed to foster transparency, dialogue, and shared responsibility for the future of our organization. Held via Zoom, the meeting created space for meaningful connection between members and those seeking to serve on the DCAEYC Board.

During the session, participants had the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, learn about their professional backgrounds, and understand their perspectives on leadership, advocacy, and service to the early childhood community in Washington, DC. The conversation reflected the values that guide DCAEYC’s work, collaboration, commitment to equity, and dedication to supporting early childhood care professionals across the city.

We were grateful for the strong turnout and the thoughtful engagement from members throughout the discussion. Events like this are an important part of ensuring that our governance remains member informed and community driven.

DCAEYC extends sincere thanks to the candidates for sharing their time and vision, and to all members who joined us and contributed to a respectful and engaging conversation. Your participation helps strengthen our association and reinforces the collective leadership that moves our work forward.

Following the meeting, candidate bios will be shared on our digital platforms to provide members with continued access to information and support informed decision making.
