DCAEYC to Host Community Education Session on Ranked Choice Voting in DC

DCAEYC will host a nonpartisan community education session on Ranked Choice Voting on Tuesday, May 12, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DCAEYC Office, located at 700 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, Suite 2073, Washington, DC 20003.
Presented in partnership with Rank the District, a project of Grow Democracy DC Civic Education Fund, the session will provide clear and accessible information about Ranked Choice Voting, also known as RCV, and help participants better understand the changes coming to DC elections.
The presentation will be led by Brandon Bush-Thompson, Engagement Coordinator with Grow Democracy DC. Brandon is a writer, communications strategist, and digital marketing professional with a strong commitment to community engagement, advocacy, fellowship, and education.
As part of DCAEYC’s commitment to informed civic participation and community connection, this session is designed to create space for learning, questions, and shared understanding. Early childhood education professionals, families, partners, and community members are welcome to attend.
No DCAEYC membership is required.
