On February 10 we gathered for the final session of our Directors’ Nook Leadership Series. Session 4, led by Travis Ballie, Organizing Director at DC Action, brought directors and early educators together to address the real challenges affecting high-quality, affordable child care in the District. The conversation was focused on solutions, collective action, and reclaiming DC’s leadership in early childhood education.

Focus: Vision-setting, leading with values, and advocacy for your program and the field.

 

Purpose: In times of uncertainty, leaders need direction and purpose. This session supports directors in reconnecting with their “why,” articulating their vision, and advocating effectively with funders, families, and policymakers.
