In this edition, we're spotlighting DCAEYC member Kamren Rollins, Chief Operating Officer of Sunshine Early Learning Center, and his experience as a fellow with the National Black Child Development Institute's Policy Fellowship Program.

Principle of Practice:

Get tips on creating a 'Sense of Place' in your classroom to make your students feel like they belong.

Policy Beat:

Learn about the Budget Recommendations from our coalition partner Under 3 DC to Mayor Bowser for FY23. We'll also tell you how you can provide testimony during the Committee of the Whole Office of the State Superintendent and Deputy Mayor of Education hearing on Wednesday, March 2.
