Welcome to our site!

The Dane County Association for the Education of Young Children (DCAEYC) is an organization for early childhood advocates in the Dane County area of southern Wisconsin. It is an affiliate of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Association (WECA). Both organizations reside under the leadership of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

DCAEYC is dedicated to providing resources and support to early childhood educators of Dane, Columbia and Sauk counties in Wisconsin.


Upcoming Events

Week of the Young Child
In recognition of the Week of the Young Child (WOYC), April 13-19, 2008, Madison Children’s Museum has partnered with DCAEYC to provide a fun-filed evening for the entire family. On Friday, April 18, 2008, families may visit the children’s museum at 100 State Street in Madison. This event offers families an opportunity to explore the interactive activities of the museum and sample healthy snacks free of charge from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Please encourage parents to participate in this celebration of young children.
